Lawyers for a former Kirkland & Ellis associate who is suing the firm for gender discrimination say they may need to disclose information that would undermine her case in order to receive their legal fees.
Zoya Kovalenko, the former Kirkland IP associate who is suing the the world’s largest firm by revenue, says she fired her lawyers at Filippatos PLLC “for cause” in January. Kovalenko claims they rushed to settle her case to fast-track their own payouts.
