Eli Lilly Promotes Millennials Over Older Workers, Suit Says (1)

Eli Lilly & Co. systematically denies older workers promotions to give them to younger employees in an effort to retain its millennial workers, an employee alleges in a collective lawsuit.

The complaint in the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana follows the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Sept. 2022 lawsuit against the pharmaceutical company for allegedly intentionally failing to hire older workers because of their age, and a Sept. 2021 lawsuit alleging the same.
