Diageo Brings Back Company Veteran to Replace Outgoing Law Head

Diageo PLC, an alcoholic beverage company known for brands like Baileys liqueur, Guinness beer, and Johnnie Walker whiskey, has hired back Randall Ingber as its general counsel and company secretary.

Ingber left Diageo more than a year ago to become general counsel for Lion Group, a Sydney, Australia-based spirits subsidiary of Japanese beverage conglomerate Kirin Holdings Co. Ltd. Diageo announced Tuesday that Ingber will return this summer to succeed Thomas Shropshire Jr., who is leaving the company this summer to take the top legal job at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.
