Diageo Taps Linklaters’ U.S. Practice Head as General Counsel

Diageo PLC said Monday that Thomas Shropshire Jr., who has promoted a path of diversity and inclusion taken by his pioneering father, will succeed the retiring Siobhán Moriarty as general counsel and company secretary.

Shropshire joins the world’s largest distiller after spending nearly the past 23 years at Linklaters, a London-based law firm that has done work for Diageo.
