Generative AI use is not widely pervasive across corporate legal departments, but general counsel expect its use to grow, according to a new survey.
Less than a third—28%—of general counsel surveyed last summer said they were currently using generative artificial intelligence for legal functions, according to a survey released Wednesday by FTI Consulting and the legal technology company Relativity. But 75% now say they expect legal departments’ use of the technology to increase in the coming years.
