A defiant Dr. Phil McGraw told a Dallas bankruptcy court that accusations that he’s acted as a “thief in the night” made by his fallen media venture’s Christian broadcast partner are “blasphemous.”
The daytime television host’s comments came as he defended his efforts to save Merit Street Media Inc. and the legitimacy of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy during testimony Thursday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
