DOJ Slams Hertz Bid to Pay $12.1 Million in Executive Bonuses (1)

Hertz Corp.‘s request to award up to $12.1 million in performance bonuses to company executives received pushback from the Justice Department, which says the car rental giant hasn’t shown that its target goals are hard to reach.

Hertz’s two proposed incentive plans for top executives and managers use projected financial forecasts that lack actual data from the 2020 holiday travel season showing that monthly revenue was growing since the summer, the U.S. Trustee’s office said Monday in a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
