Ector County Energy Center LLC, the former owner of a West Texas power plant, won court approval to wind down in bankruptcy following a $144 million sale of the plant to Rockland Capital LP.
ECEC, an Invenergy LLC portfolio company that operated a 330 megawatt natural gas power generation plant, is liquidating under a fully consensual Chapter 11 plan approved Wednesday by Judge John T. Dorsey of the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
