Antonio Brown’s bankruptcy attorney has asked to withdraw from his representation of the former NFL wide receiver, citing an “irreconcilable dispute,” a day after a government watchdog accused Brown of lying about an illness.
Lorium PLLC attorney Joe Grant said Brown should be given reasonable time to obtain new counsel, according to a motion filed Wednesday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
A judge will consider the request at a hearing scheduled for March 27.
