Actor Danny Trejo won court approval for a bankruptcy plan that calls on him to sell one of his two Los Angeles homes to help pay off roughly $3 million in tax debts.
Trejo owes about $2.4 million to the Internal Revenue Service dating back to 2014 and about $650,000 to California’s Franchise Tax Board dating back to 2016, according to bankruptcy court records. The actor, known for roles in “Desperado,” “From Dusk Till Dawn,” “Heat,” and the “Machete” franchise, filed for bankruptcy protection in February.
