Loren Duggan

Loren Duggan is the deputy news director for the Tax, Accounting, and Policy team. He works with reporters, analysts, and editors across the newsroom providing coverage of key government decisions and actions. Loren was previously the deputy news director for Bloomberg Government, edited the Congress Tracker newsletter, and helped launch BGOV Bill Analyses and OnPoints. He’s shared his expertise on Congress, policy developments, the legislative process, and House and Senate procedure through webinars, media appearances, and live events. Loren graduated from American University with degrees in political science and psychology and spent a semester in London, where he interned for a member of the UK Parliament. He loves to travel and read.
