December 11, 2023, 10:50 PM UTC

World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. has reached an undisclosed settlement with rival MLW Media LLC in an antitrust accusing WWE of engaging in anticompetitive conduct to maintain a monopoly in their sport market.

In a Monday court filing, plaintiff MLW Media and defendant WWE said they reached a settlement.

“The parties are in the process of completing the final settlement documents and expect to file the appropriate dismissal papers within the next thirty (30) days,” the notice stated.

MLW sued WWE in 2022 for allegedly violating antitrust laws by interfering with access to talent and media markets, including a television broadcasting agreement.

MLW is represented by Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP. WWE is represented by Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP.

The case is MLW Media LLC v. World Wrestling Entertainment. Inc, N.D. Cal., No. 5:22-cv-00179, 12/11/23.
