The Writers Guild has settled with another of the Hollywood talent agencies facing off against it in a Los Angeles federal court over a guild conflict-of-interest policy that led to a boycott of agencies pitching “packages” of talent and ideas to production studios.
Creative Artists Agency disclosed the agreement in a court filing withdrawing its request for a preliminary injunction to end the boycott. The guild also posted its pact with CAA—and a parallel agreement with the agency’s private equity owner, TPG Capital—on its website.
