Tyson, Agri Stats Seek Judge’s Recusal in Pork Price-Fixing Case

Tyson Foods Inc., data analytics firm Agri Stats Inc., and other defendants in a pork price-fixing case want a judge overseeing the litigation to recuse himself, saying a clerk of his was significantly conflicted.

The motion, filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Minnesota, requests that Judge John R. Tunheim recuse himself from the case, vacate rulings he issued late last month on the defendants’ bids for summary judgment, and exclude testimony from some of the plaintiffs’ expert witnesses.
