Pratt & Whitney’s RTX Corp. division inked a deal to settle claims alleging the defense giant agreed with other aerospace manufacturers not to poach one another’s employees in violation of federal antitrust law.
The company filed a notice for the proposed deal Aug. 30 in US District Court for the District of Connecticut. It follows settlements reached by other defendants in the case for a combined total of $26.5 million. Employees sued RTX and the other companies in 2021.
RTX is also working to settle a criminal investigation by the US government into pricing for missile and defense services.
