Cyient Inc. and four other aerospace firms will settle claims against them in a class action alleging that they, along with RTX Corp.'s Pratt & Whitney, agreed not to poach one another’s employees in violation of federal antitrust law.
The proposed deals, and the plaintiffs’ request for approval, were filed July 12 in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut and follow more than two years of litigation brought by former employees who allege the companies restricted the hiring of one another’s workers in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act.
