Jennie-O Turkey Store Inks Agreement in Wage Price-Fixing Case

Jennie-O Turkey Store Inc. reached an agreement to settle antitrust claims that it drove down worker wages at poultry processing plants and other facilities.

Worker plaintiffs and Jennie-O filed a notice Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of Maryland that they reached the deal, the terms of which aren’t public, in a case that accuses the nation’s largest poultry producers of conspiring to depress the hourly wages and benefits paid to plant employees. The agreement comes the same week that Koch Foods also reached an undisclosed deal in the litigation.
