A Georgia-based ready-mix concrete company and four individuals allegedly engaged in a price-fixing conspiracy, according to a federal indictment.
Evans Concrete LLC and Timothy “Bo” Strickland, a former company president, were charged Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia with conspiring to fix prices and rig bids for ready-mix concrete used in commercial, residential, and public projects in the Savannah, Ga., area.
The indictment stems from a Justice Department investigation first made public in 2019.
