Elanco Escapes Some, but Not All, Claims in Animal Products Suit

Elanco Animal Products will face certain claims that it monopolized the market for flea-and tick-prevention products after a federal judge allowed some allegations to move forward while dismissing others.

Judge James Patrick Hanlon of the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana in a Tuesday order granted in part Elanco’s motion to dismiss a price-fixing lawsuit, permitting state-law indirect-purchaser claims to proceed but nixing federal Sherman Act claims.
