Newly-consolidated multidistrict litigation alleging several tiremakers, including Michelin North America Inc. and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., engaged in a price-fixing conspiracy is set for an initial court appearance in early July.
The US Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation signed off on consolidating 14 suits in the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, with Judge Sara Lioi presiding over the MDL docket, on June 7. Lioi on Monday scheduled a case management conference for July 2.
