Utah Man Sentenced to 72 Months for Role in US Capitol Breach

A Utah man has been sentenced to 72 months in prison on felony charges related to his conduct during the breach of the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, according to the Justice Department on Friday.

John Earle Sullivan was found guilty of felony offenses of obstructing officers during a civil disorder and disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds with a dangerous weapon, among other felonies.

Sullivan was also found guilty of misdemeanor offenses of disorderly or disruptive conduct in a Capitol building and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building, said the DOJ. ...
