Utah Man Sentenced for $8 Million Credit Card Fraud Scheme

Timothy Gibson, of Lehi, Utah, was sentenced to 57 months in prison for his role in a credit card fraud scheme and making false statements to a bank, the Justice Department announced Thursday.

According to the DOJ, Gibson previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud for his involvement in a multi-million dollar credit card fraud scheme in New Jersey, as well as making false statements to a bank as part of a separate scheme in Utah.
