Utah Man Arrested for Assaulting Officers During Jan. 6 Breach

A Utah man has been arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges for his actions during the breach of the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, according to the Justice Department on Tuesday.

Zach Rash is charged with the felony offenses of obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder and assaulting officers and inflicting bodily injury.

Rash is also charged with multiple misdemeanor offenses, including disorderly conduct in a Capitol building or grounds, and engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds, the DOJ said.
