US Gets Warrant to Seize Russian’s $90 Million Airbus Plane (1)

The US got a warrant to seize a $90 million private Airbus plane owned by a member of the Russian Duma who allegedly has ties to organized crime.

A judge on Monday signed a warrant permitting officials to seize the plane belonging to Andrei Skoch, according to a statement by Manhattan US Attorney Damian Williams. The plane is currently located in Kazakhstan, according to legal papers.

Prosecutors claim Skoch, who was named by the US as a sanctioned individual in 2018, owns the plane through a series of shell companies and trusts “tied to his romantic partner,” according to ...
