US companies performing professional services will be banned from working in Russia starting Tuesday, with a 30-day wind-down period, under Treasury Department sanctions.
Companies signing contracts with the US government have to adhere to Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements related to their sanctions-related obligations and the work performed by their subcontractors. There are civil and criminal penalties that come with violating the ban.
