US Attorney Martin Estrada has announced the launch of the corporate and securities fraud strike force and the vulnerable communities task force, according to a Wednesday news release.
The unit will focus on complex corporate crimes, abuses by company insiders, and offenses that impact the nation’s financial system, the US Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California said. Assistant United States Attorney Brett Sagel will lead the unit.
