U.N. Musical Director Charged in Charity Embezzlement Scheme

A Southern California man who served as a musical director for the United Nations was arrested for his alleged role in a scheme to embezzle $750,000 from a charity concert benefiting homeless children.

Robin DiMaggio, a professional drummer from Woodland Hills who also served as musical director for the Arsenio Hall TV Show, was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with felony wire fraud, prosecutors announced Dec. 10. He allegedly used the Peace for You Peace for Me Foundation’s money to buy his ex-wife a home in Calabasas.
