Twitter, Facebook, Google Not Liable for Radicalizing Shooter

Social media platforms aren’t liable for radicalizing a mass shooter in Dallas, a federal district court in Texas said.

Jesus Retana, who was injured in the shooting, didn’t show a sufficient connection between the terrorist group Hamas’s social media posts and the shooter, Micah Johnson, the opinion by Judge Jane J. Boyle of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas said.
