That’s the hope of attorneys for Sayfullo Saipov, as they cite the president’s internet musings in a Sept. 6 court filing in Manhattan federal court. Saipov stands charged there for murder after allegedly driving a truck onto a city bike path Oct. 31, 2017, killing eight people and injuring more.
