One of the owners of Texas-based compounding pharmacies Xpress Compounding and Rxpress Pharmacy was found guilty on four counts of paying kickbacks and one count of conspiring to commit money laundering, following an eight day federal trial.
The jury in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas on Thursday acquitted Richard Hall on a kickback conspiracy charge.
Six additional defendants named in the original indictment had already pleaded guilty. Another alleged co-conspirator and marketer, Quintan Cockerell, is set to be tried separately.
