Texas Death Row Inmate Loses, Despite Help from SCOTUS, DA

Bobby Moore faces a death sentence once again, despite a U.S. Supreme Court ruling in his favor and what prosecutors agree is an intellectual disability.

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals wrongly evaluated Moore’s intellectual disability claim, the Supreme Court said last year.

But even under the more generous standard mandated by the nation’s high court, Moore still doesn’t win, Presiding Judge Sharon Keller wrote for the Lone Star State’s top criminal court.
