Retirement systems for Rhode Island and two Pennsylvania counties are suing current and former corporate leaders at Super Micro, including Yih-Shyan “Wally” Liaw, the co-founder facing criminal charges for allegedly diverting billions worth of servers to Chinese companies. The lawsuit, unsealed Thursday, says a board stacked with loyalists turned a blind eye to a “staggering” litany of red flags while insiders “profited handsomely” from illegal stock sales.
