Sidley’s Polite to Review Tavistock Amid Founder’s Criminal Case

The Justice Department’s recently departed top criminal official will review corporate compliance programs at international investment firm Tavistock Group after its founder was charged by DOJ last year with insider trading.

Kenneth Polite, who stepped down as criminal division chief in August, will lead the internal review of Tavistock operations, the company said Tuesday. Polite is now a partner at Sidley Austin, where he co-leads the global white collar practice.
