Former National Security Agency contractor Reality Winner won’t get another chance at her bid for compassionate release related to the Covid-19 pandemic because the trial court didn’t abuse its discretion in rejecting her motion without a hearing, the Eleventh Circuit ruled Monday.

Winner stipulated to a 63-month prison term as part of a plea deal on charges she leaked national defense information to a news outlet in violation of Section 793(e) of the Espionage Act.
