Reagan Airport Resumes Flights After United Jet Bomb Threat (2)

Flights in and out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport near Washington resumed on Tuesday after flying was halted due to a bomb threat on a United Airlines Holdings Inc. jet.

The US Federal Aviation Administration lifted the so-called ground stop around 1 p.m. local time. Flights into the airport are still delayed, on average by 87 minutes, according to an FAA advisory.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said in a post to social media platform X that the FAA “has received the all clear” from law enforcement officials who conducted a full search of the aircraft. The United plane ...
