A Maryland man who ran a company offering charter flights on private jets was convicted of defrauding customers out of $15 million, according to the US Department of Justice.
Patrick Britton-Harr, 43, was found guilty of falsely claiming he would use customers’ money to pay for jets in exchange for cut-rate flight time, the department said in a statement.
