Olympic Sex Abuse Prevention Group Hires New Legal Chief (2)

The nonprofit created by Congress to stop the sexual abuse of Olympic athletes has hired Jessica Perrill, a past first state assistant attorney general and former Division III soccer player, as its new general counsel while the organization works to better its response to allegations from amateur sports participants.

Perrill was most recently a senior lawyer in the human services unit of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office in Denver, where the team she supervised represented a trio of state agencies. She joined the US Center for SafeSport last month, said the organization’s spokeswoman Hilary Nemchik.
