New Year’s Eve Bomb Plot Tied to Extremist Group Halted (1)

Attorney General Pam Bondi said that federal agents stopped a planned New Year’s Eve bombing campaign in Southern California, arresting suspected members of a group accused of preparing improvised explosive devices for coordinated attacks.

“After an intense investigation, the Department of Justice, working with our FBI, prevented what would have been a massive and horrific terror plot,” Bondi said on Monday.
