New Jersey Man Sentenced on Felony Charge for Jan. 6 Connection

Ezekiel Kurt Stecher was sentenced on a felony charge for his actions during the breach of the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, the Justice Department said Wednesday.

Stecher was sentenced by Judge Randolph D. Moss of the US District Court for the District of Columbia to 60 days’ incarceration and 24 months of supervised release, according to the DOJ.

He pleaded guilty to a felony charge of civil disorder on June 16, the department said. He was arrested on March 9, 2021, in Mantua Township, N.J.
