Murdered Mongolian’s Dad Allowed to Pursue Reopening Probe (1)

The father of Altantuya Shaariibuu, the woman murdered in 2006 by two bodyguards assigned to protect officials including former Malaysian premier Najib Razak, has been granted leave to petition a court to order a further probe into her death.

A Malaysian court gave Shaariibuu Setev permission to pursue a judicial review to compel Malaysian authorities to investigate the contents of a 2019 sworn declaration made by one of the men convicted of her killing, according to Shaariibuu’s lawyer, Sangeet Kaur Deo.
