BOSTON—A California-based movie director was arraigned Dec. 9 in state court in Massachusetts for allegedly obtaining $4.7 million in fraudulent film tax credits by claiming inflated expenses for two movies filmed on Cape Cod.
Daniel Adams was arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on charges of making a false claim against the state and larceny of over $250. Adams had been arrested Dec. 8 by state police.
