Carlos Ayala has been arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges related to his alleged conduct during the Jan. 6 breach of the US Capitol, the Justice Department said Tuesday.
Ayala has been charged in a criminal complaint filed in the District of Columbia with a felony of civil disorder as well as related misdemeanor offenses, according to the DOJ.
He was arrested by the FBI in Maryland. He will make his initial appearance in Washington, D.C., the DOJ said.
