Chanell Easton, a church administrator at a church in Yuba City, Calif., was found guilty of two counts of aggravated identity theft, the Justice Department said Tuesday.
Easton was charged with 22 counts of wire fraud and two counts of aggravated identity theft, and she pleaded guilty to the fraud counts but persisted in her not guilty plea to the remaining two counts, according to the DOJ. She was charged with embezzling over $360,000 from the church.
US District Judge John A. Mendez scheduled Easton to be sentenced on June 25.
