Jetflicks Content Piracy Scheme Leads to Conspiracy Convictions

Five individuals associated with Jetflicks, a subscription-based streaming service that relied on pirated content, have been found guilty of conspiracy to commit criminal copyright infringement.

The jury returned its verdict June 18, following a 15-day trial before Judge Richard F. Boulware II in the US District Court for the District of Nevada.

Kristopher Dallmann, the company’s CEO, was also found guilty of two counts of criminal copyright infringement by distribution, one count of criminal copyright infringement by public performance, and two counts of money laundering. He was acquitted of a second count of criminal copyright infringement by public performance.
