A former RBS Securities Inc. trader pleaded guilty March 11 to a charge in connection with a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme, the Department of Justice announced in a written statement (United States v. Katke, D. Conn., 3:15-cr-00038, guilty plea 3/11/15).
Matthew Katke pleaded guilty before Judge Donna F. Martinez to one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud.
Sentencing is set for June 3 before Judge Robert N. Chatigny in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
