Freeda Flynn, a formerly licensed Ohio doctor, has been convicted of eight counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance in St. Clairsville, Ohio, the Department of Justice said Wednesday.

Flynn allegedly prescribed oxycodone, hydrocodone, and methadone to patients without medical reason outside of her professional practice, said the agency. Flynn’s DEA registration has been surrendered and her medical license was revoked by the State Medical Board of Ohio.

She was convicted in the Southern District of Ohio and faces a maximum of 20 years in prison on each count, DOJ said.
