Former CEO of MoviePass Parent Temporarily Released From Custody

Theodore Farnsworth, who is accused of defrauding Helios & Matheson Analytics Inc. investors in connection with MoviePass, was temporarily released from custody on Monday to attend his mother’s funeral.

Farnsworth’s mother died unexpectedly two days prior to his arrest in New York on Aug. 2 on alleged bond violations.

Farnsworth will be required to re-surrender to the US Marshals Service custody on Wednesday by 3:00 p.m.,
at which time he will be held with no bond, according to an order by the US District Court for the Northern District of New York.
