The Justice Department was forced to release a 32-page affidavit and 6 pages of accompanying material that it used to convince a judge to issue a search warrant of Donald Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago. Here’s what we learned:
- The 15 boxes of material that Trump turned over to the National Archives in January included 184 unique documents bearing classification markings, including 67 labeled confidential, 92 that were secret and 25 marked top secret. “Several of the documents” also had what appeared to be handwritten notes by the former president, the affidavit states.
