A Pittsburgh man unlawfully trafficked in both invasive and federally protected fish species, the Justice Department alleged in a new federal indictment.
Anthony Nguyen owned and operated a business specializing in rare and exotic freshwater tropical fish species. Nyuyen sold illegally imported, endangered Asian arowana, as well as invasive snakehead fish, according to an indictment in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Nguyen also falsified documents related to his sale of snakeheads, the DOJ alleged.
