Ex-Goldman Banker Gets Tentative July Trial Date in Bribery Case

Former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. banker Asante Berko, who last month lost a bid to toss his foreign bribery case, faces a tentative July 27 trial in federal court.

US District Judge Diane Gujarati in Brooklyn, New York, set the date at a hearing Monday. Berko was first charged in 2020 and extradited to the US from the UK in July 2024.
